In 1995 MicroTouch acquired Factura Kiosks, the largest kiosk manufacturer in the U.S. Factura has produced an estimated 30 percent of the kiosks installed in the U.S., for customers including IBM, Digital, Unisys, Kraft General Foods, JC Penney and PepsiCo.

Founded in 1982, MicroTouch reported sales of $76.7 million in 1995.
