The First Minister has announced that a tiered system of restrictions will be introduced in Scotland once the current temporary restrictions around bars, pubs and restaurants are lifted.

At her daily press briefing, Ms Sturgeon said that they intended to work as closely with the other UK Governments, though specific public health concerns will be specific to the devolved nations.

On Tuesday, 1,297 people have tested positive, 537 patients are in hospital and seven people have died from the virus.
