Corning launches TrueDrop portfolio for RF connection to high-performance HFC network.

Stable and reliable coax cable connections are crucial to a high performance HFC network. With demand on the network only set to grow, Corning Optical Communications is launching the TrueDrop portfolio, which includes F compression connectors and A++ Drop jumpers with a mating surface design.

Comprising of a self-centering, cone-shaped mating interface, TrueDrop connectors are adaptable to a wide range of port conditions and surface conditions. Operators can be sure that their port to F connector connection will have a 360-degree contact, avoided RF leakage, reduced O-ring damage, and countered sleeve rotation to create a true RF-tight connection.
