Corker dumps on Trump.
Corker dumps on Trump: Republican Sen. Bob Corker (photo) of Tennessee, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, announced last week that he will not run for re-election. Then he commented that some officials like Secretary of State Rex Tillerson are what "separates our country from chaos," a clear swipe at President Trump. Trump then swiped back, saying Corker didn't "have the guts" to run and had "begged" Trump for an endorsement. Corker's staff said Trump had actually called Corker asking him to reverse his retirement decision and run, since the GOP will have a harder time holding the seat without him. Corker didn't mince words in his tweet in response: "It's a shame the White House has become an adult day care center."
