Copa Airlines first in Latin America to receive Next-Generation 737 with Boeing Sky Interior.

Aircraft maker Boeing (NYSE:BA) has delivered a Next-Generation 737 with the new Boeing Sky Interior to Panama-based Copa Airlines, the airline said yesterday.

Copa Airlines, a subsidiary of Copa Holdings SA (NYSE:CPA), is the first airline in Latin America to take delivery of this interior. It features new cove lighting and curving architecture in the entry way, increased baggage storage, enhanced passenger service units and sculpted sidewalls and window reveals to draw passengers' eyes to the view outside the window.

The newly-delivered 737-800 with the Boeing Sky Interior is the first of 10 new 737-800s that Copa Airlines will receive in 2011.
