Coors Dry continues regional expansion.

Following the successful launch of Coors Dry into 14 western states earlier in 1991, Coors Brewing Co. announced it is expanding its distribution of the brand into four new states of the Plains division.

Beginning April 1, Coors Dry will be available in four new states: Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Missouri. Currently, the brand is distributed in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, New Mexico, Utah, Texas, Washington and Wyoming.

"Coors Brewing Company's introduction of Coors Dry was one of the most successful new product launches in the brewing industry in 1991, with sales and distribution far exceeding our goals," said Jon Runge, Coors Dry brand manager.

"After only four months in the markets, Coors Dry became the number-two premium dry beer in the western region, and with this expansion, we will increase market share even further," Runge continued.

Runge added that Coors Dry has received an enthusiastic reception from Coors distributors and consumers alike, and that he expects similar reaction in the Plains states.

"Consumers have been asking for superior refreshment in a dry beer, and with our exclusive |double-chilled' brewing process, that's exactly what they're getting," Runge continued. "Coors Dry is made with only the freshest, all-natural ingredients and pure Rocky Mountain spring water."
