Cookson Plastic Pallets. (Packaging Tech Update).
The 40-inch by 48-inch pallets are made with the company's trademarked Emabond welding process and patented 'pultrusion" technology. "We developed the Rack'R as part of an ongoing effort to provide our customers with plastic pallets that are lighter, more cost-effective and perform better than those on the market," says Bob Reivik, president of Cookson's. "This pallet is the product of intensive research and testing and is revolutionary."
Reivik says that the block-style, fully-recyclable Rack'R is structural-foam molded from high-density polyethylene. "It is reinforced with I-beam pultrusion to provide durability and strength," Reivik states. "this makes it strong enough to hold heavy loads for extended periods without sagging or otherwise distorting."
The Rack'R pallet has an edge-rack load capacity of 2,800 pounds, a dynamic load rating of 5,a00 pounds and an operating temperature range of 20 degrees to 140 degrees.
