This beautifully illustrated book captures the bedtime dynamics between parent and child. Adults will appreciate the parent's frustration and desperate attempts to put a child to bed. Children will get great delight recognizing the tricks they use to try to avoid sleep. Pay special attention to the detail in the drawings. Laura Cornell's expressive illustrations bring the story alive, and many adults will recognize themselves in the faces of the characters.
