Convergys Signs Infinys Billing Contract with Indonesian Cellular Operator Satelindo; Infinys to Support Carrier's Launch of 2.5G Mobile Services and Bundled Offerings.

CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 13, 2003

Convergys Corporation (NYSE:CVG), the global leader in integrated billing, employee care, and customer care services, announced today a contract to license Infinys(TM) to PT Satelit Palapa Indonesia (Satelindo). The Indonesian cellular operator will use Geneva(TM), the Infinys application for rating and billing, with the Infinys application for order management to support Satelindo's postpaid services and introduce 2.5G mobile services.

Satelindo is Indonesia's second-largest cellular operator with 3.6 million subscribers as of June 30, 2003. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of PT Indonesian Satellite Corporation (PT Indosat (NYSE:IIT)). Jakarta-based Satelindo was established in 1993 and provides international telephony and satellite communications services in addition to cellular services.
