Contractors raise concern over discrepancy in process of tenders.

GHALANAI -- Contractors in Mohmand Agency raised concerns over the discrepancies in process of tenders application, sought out in FATA Development Authority (FDA) by alleging that powerful contractors has used their influence to bypass low bid contractors, while briefing journalists in Ghalanai Press club, on Tuesday.

They alleged that, powerful contractors have used their influence to turn off application received from low bid contractors. They accused powerful contractors of using their power to overturn application by plotting their men to restrict other contractor's bids application, to be submitted at PDA office main gate.

They said, contractors of Mohmand Agency were always become victim of the injustices. They blamed influential bidder from Bajaur of illegally restricting other bidder applications.

Contractors demanded from FDA to entertain their applications and asked to thoroughly investigate the matter, otherwise, a protest will be stage in front of FDA office.

Meanwhile, Mohmand Agency won thrilling final match of All FATA Candyland Cricket Tournament played between Bajaur Agency and Mohmand Agency concluded after a thrilling final showdown between Mohmand Agency and Kurram Agency.

As per details, Kurram Agency set the target of 154 runs for the opponent and in reply Mohmand Agency achieved the target with loss of three wickets. The final match was played on the Bajaur Sports Complex. Zubair Ali on 55 runs and Faqeer Muhammad on 45 runs of Mohmand Agecny team remained not out and won the match.
