Contract Awarded for air vehicle planning system support.

The U.S. Air Force awarded BAE Systems in San Diego a contract that could be worth as much as $42.9 million.

The contract modification covers air vehicle planning system support. Work will be performed at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska; Bellevue, Neb.; and San Diego. Work is expected to be complete by July 31, 2019.

The Pentagon contract announcement of April 6 makes reference to Army weapons and air vehicles. The recipient is BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc.

The contract modification is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity deal, meaning that $42.9 million is the contracts ceiling amount.

The 55th Contracting Squadron of Offutt Air Force Base awarded the deal.
