This well designed Continuity Tester for laparoscopic instruments provides an effective solution for locating potentially dangerous tears and cracks along the tube and handle of laparoscopie instruments, preventing patient burns. The unit is designed to be used in the Sterile Processing Department to find potential hazards before they reach the operating room. The Continuity Tester provides a full short-circuit test and also verifies the insulation integrity of bipolar cables and forceps, as well as laparoscopic forceps, electrodes and scissors. The Continuity Tester is completely reusable, runs on only one 9-volt battery, and features a storage/carrying case. All accessories are included.
