Continental Airlines launches new services from Newark International Airport to Puerto Plata.

From 14 June Continental Airlines commenced services from Newark International Airport to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic and from Bush International Airport to Aguascalientes, Mexico.

The carrier is also increasing its daily service between New York and Santiago, Chile via Lima, Peru from the current four times weekly schedule.

Continental Airlines also started two non-stop services from Houston to Anchorage, Alaska and Oakland, California on 14 June, when it also launched a third, daily flight between Houston and Toronto.
