Constructing of parking structure at fort griffin state historic site.

Tenders are invited for The contractor will pour a cement slab and place anchor bolts to support the steel structure. When the concrete is cured, the contractor will bolt together a prefab steel structure. The slab construction will be on grade with the existing building. A 4" minimum thickness will be required and a strength consistent to support vehicles and equipment. A footing on three sides will be a minimum 12" deep from the surface of the finished concrete and a minimum 12" wide. The footer will be constructed to accommodate the anchor bolts in width and depth. Reinforcement steel will be tied and a minimum " rebar and spaced 12" on center in the main slab and 8" apart in the footings. The slab side joining the existing building will be tied in by drilling into the existing slab and securing rebar stubs and connected to the rebar in the new slab. A beam of 12" wide and 12" deep will be placed in the center of the slab running from end wall to end wall and parallel to the roof peak. A smooth finish to match the existing building will be required. The area around the structure will be finished to allow proper drainage.
