CONGRATULATIONS to Mary and Joe Cregan who have celebrated sixty years of marriage.

They marked the event with a party at the Aston Court Hotel, in Coventry.

Joe spent his all working life with Chrysler and Mary was a school cook for Blue Coat School, in Coventry.

In retirement, they enjoy filling their time with church and charity work and gardening.

Joe and Mary have four surviving children, 13 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren.

LEON and Shirley Tavinor, of Rupertbrooke Road, Rugby, Warwickshire, had a golden day when they celebrated 50 years of marriage. The couple made their vows in August, 1954, at Holy Trinity Church, Rugby.

KAREN Lee, daughter of Derek and Wendy Lee, of Eastern Green, Coventry, married, James Oliver, son of Bill and Karen Oliver, of Takinini, New Zealand, at Leez Priory in Essex.

TINA Barrett, daughter of John and Janet Barrett, of Wood End, Coventry, married Robert Tyrell, son of Stan and Beryl Tyrell, of Tile Hill, Coventry, at St Paul's Church, Foleshill, Coventry.
