Conference to focus on leadership.

AN international leadership conference focusing on transformational change will be held at the InterContinental Regency Bahrain next week.

The third annual Bahrain International Leadershift Conference will be held under the patronage of Minister of State for Electricity and Water Affairs Dr Abdulhussain Mirza on Monday.

The event, organised by Prince Events Managements, is aimed at future executives, directors, managers and other professionals.

"This year the conference will focus on 'leadershift' culture," said Prince Events Managements chairman Khalid Al Qoud.

"The Leadershift Conference has had a good response since 2011, as one of the gatherings most popular with, and most beneficial for, corporate leaders.

Challenging

"As this moment in history demands a new form of leadership that can set the right goals, communicate the right ideas and deliver effective results, the conference is designed to be transformational, challenging our mindset and helping everyone to perform at the top of his ability.

"We will help the delegates become the kind of visionary leader this moment demands, and we have designed this conference to support future executives, directors, managers, professionals and other responsible leaders for human resources and talent management."

Speakers at the two-day event will include Jafcon Consultancy chief executive Dr Akbar Jaffari, Saudi Arabia's Federation of GCC Chambers general secretary Abdulrahim Hasan Naqi, UAE's Innova Supply Chain chief executive Andre Verdier and Jordan's Schema chief executive Mli Qasem.

Organisers are expecting an audience of 400 delegates to be addressed by 20 professional speakers, leaders, chairmen and chief executives.

Bahrain Leadershift Conference was founded in 2011 to help organisations meet the challenges posed by the fallout of 2008's global financial crisis.
