Conference to feature 'State of the Industry' survey results.

The newsletter and specialized-information industry's major annual event will run June 5 to 7 at The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C.

This year the Newsletter & Electronic Publishers Association's annual international conference is called "Winning Profit Strategies for Specialty Publishers"--the term specialty publishers an apparent and ongoing attempt to define just who we are and what we do.

On the first day, conference chairman Tom Hagy will share the results of NEPA's newest "State of the Industry" survey. That will be followed by the brothers Cooper, Marshall and Wayne, who will describe how they bought and built several information businesses with their partners.

The meeting features 45 sessions and 100 speakers.

For a complete conference program and registration information, contact NEPA. NEPA, 1501 Wilson Blvd., #509, Arlington, VA 22209 703-527-2333, fax 703-841-0629, www.newsletters.org.
