Conference in southern Africa. (The Manager's Musings).
I find it heartening that less than a decade after its return to the international family of nations, South Africa is hosting such a regional event and kicking it off with an intercontinental videoconference on the management transformation challenge. Speakers are already lined up from New Zealand, Scotland, and the US to join those of us at the Emfuleni Conference Center in Vanderbijipark to share their views and insights on accountability, productivity, and customer service quality improvement.
If you have an opening on your calendar and have always yearned to visit this incredibly beautiful and hospitable corner of the globe, check the conference out on its Web site: www.tritek.ac.za/management/mansci/or contact the coordinator, Dr. Esther Hoffmann, at the Vaal Triangle Technikon (firstname.lastname@example.org). Better yet, if you have an illuminating case study to share, contact me directly (email@example.com) and we'll try including you in one of the concurrent panels or workshops currently being planned.
