Conference focuses on latest Nano and Hybrid Coatings information.

The Paint Research Association (PRA), Middlesex, UK, will host the Second International Nano and Hybrid Coatings Conference on March 7-8, 2007, at the Bedford Hotel in Brussels, Belgium.

Featuring the theme "Developments of the Minute," the conference will cover the latest developments regarding all aspects of the use of nanotechnology in surface coatings as well as organic-inorganic hybrid coatings. The conference will include 22 presentations given by experts in the fields of nano and hybrid technology as related to coatings applications. The presentations are organized into four sessions over two days: Session I: Nano Materials--Synthesis and Characterization; Session II: Nano Materials--Testing & Applications; Session III: Hybrid Materials--Synthesis and Characterization; and Session IV: Hybrid Materials--Testing & Applications. The conference will also include poster presentations and tabletop exhibits. A conference dinner will be held on the evening of March 7.
