Condolences to the Family and Friends of James Pavilcek, Jr.

We are sad to report that on Saturday, March 4, 2000, James A. Pavlicek, Jr., died from injuries sustained in a traffic accident. Mr. Pavlicek, 40, was president of the Pennsylvania Environmental Health Association, a NEHA affiliate organization. He worked in the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection in New Castle as a sanitation officer. An active member of the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, Mr. Pavlicek also was working on a master's degree at Pennsylvania State University He was a long-time member of NEHA, and was very dedicated to the environmental health profession--he will be greatly missed.
