ISLAMABAD -- A condolence reference was held at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) to offer Fateha for musical stalwart Ustad Shaukat Manzoor. The music maestro had passed away on April 27 in Rawalpindi. Paying tribute to the late veteran music maestro, PNCA Director General Jamal Shah said that late Ustad Manzoor was fully capable of rendering all forms of traditional music with equal ease and dexterity. His meritorious services rendered in the field of music will be remembered for which he rightly deserves state-level recognition, Shah stated. The PNCA chief stated that the council will recommend him for a civil award. The reference ended with offering fateha for the departed.
