Deionized water 42.5

Phase C

Foamid C (Alzo) 3.0
 (cocamide DEA)

 (adjust pH to 5.5-6.0)

PROCEDURE:

Combine phase A in a suitable vessel equipped
with heating and cooling. Begin mixing and
heat to 70-75[degrees]C. Mix at temperature until uniform
and for at least 15 minutes. Continue mixing;
begin cooling and add phase B. Continue
mixing and cool to 35-40[degrees]C. Continue mixing
and add phase C. Continue mixing and cool to
desired drop temperature.

BATH SHOWER GEL

INGREDIENTS: % WT.

Miracare 1673 (Rhodia) 50.0
 (mixture)
Fragrance, dye(s), preservative q.s.
Sodium chloride 0.20-0.80
Water 49.5

PROCEDURE:

Charge water into mixing vessel and heat to 45-50[degrees]C.
With smooth agitation, slowly blend in
Miracare 1673 and mix until completely uniform.
Add compatible fragrance, dye(s) and preservative
and adjust the formulation viscosity
with the addition of sodium chloride as needed.

PROPERTIES;

Appearance at 25[degrees]C: clear, viscous liquid

Viscosity at 25[degrees] C; 10,000-14,000 cps
(RVT #4 spindle @ 10rpm)

pH: 5.5-6.5

% Non-volatiles: 16.5-18.5

PROCEDURE:

Combine phase A materials in a suitable kettle.
Start heating to 85[degrees]C under propeller
mixer. Mix until all waxes are melted. Start
adding phase B to phase A in sequence, while
constantly mixing well. Start adding phase C to
the batch one ingredient at a time, mixing well
with each addition. Maintain the temperature
at 85[degrees]C while the batch is constantly mixing for
15 minutes. Then start cooling to 75[degrees]C and add
phase D to the batch. Pour at 75[degrees]C in an appropriate
molder.

PROCEDURE:

Sprinkle Carbopol Ultrez 21 Polymer onto the
surface of phase A deionized water. When wetted,
begin gentle agitation. Add Fixate G-100
Polymer. Mix until uniform. Add additional
ingredients, mixing well after each addition.
Add AMP-95.

Combine phase A ingredients with mixing

55[degrees]C. Slowly add first ingredient of phase B,
mixing well. Add second ingredient of phase
B and cool to room temperature. Adjust pH to
5.5 if necessary.

Combine ingredients in phase A; mix until uniform

45[degrees]C (heat Lexguard 0 and add to LiquaPar
Optima) and add phase D. Add phase E. Cool to
room temperature. Qs for water loss.
