Concorde sails into Scotland.

THE last Concorde touched down in Scotland a day early yesterday when the barge carrying the giant plane docked at Torness, East Lothian.

The five-day trip had been made at less than 100 miles a day, a contrast to the retired jet's old cruising speed of 1336mph.

And tonight the plane will begin the last leg of its journey by road through East Lothian to its new home at the Museum of Flight at East Fortune.
