Concert season on the way.

TICKETS went on sale this week for musical performances in Huddersfield.

Kirklees Concert Season kicks off at Huddersfield Town Hall on Thursday, September 20, when the Orchestra of Opera North will play pieces by Russain composers Mikhail Glinka, Sergei Rachmaninov and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.

The performance starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost pounds 8 to pounds 24.

Organist Gordon Stewart will perform at the town hall on Monday, October 15. Tickets cost pounds 5 with pounds 3.50 concessions.
