Comverse Technology Announces More Than $3 Million In Repeat Orders For Messaging Equipment For Telstra (Telecom Australia); Orders From Telecom Australia Over The Past Two Years Exceed $7 Million.

WOODBURY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--February 10, 1995--Comverse Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:CMVT) announced today it has received orders worth more than $3 million for the Company's TRILOGUE(R) INfinity enhanced telecommunications services platforms.

The systems will be used by Telstra (Telecom Australia) to provide messaging services for its network. The orders, which represent follow-on contracts to increase the capacity and capabilities of existing messaging service installations, were placed by Alcatel Australia, Comverse's distributor in Australia. Alcatel Australia is a member of the Alcatel group (NYSE:ALA) the world's largest supplier of telecommunications equipment and systems.
