Comunique-se Announces Annual Report Ranking the Top Public Relations Firms in Brazil; Nationwide Survey Completed by the Companies Themselves Offers Insights to Size and Scope of Largest Market in South America.

SAO PAULO, Brazil -- The Most Complete and Relevant Poll Ever Published in South America's Largest Economy to Reveal Key Players on Three Levels: National, Regional and State

The best public relations firms in Brazil will be made known to companies around the world, according to Comunique-se, the first Brazilian portal completely dedicated to communication professionals by disseminating news to the journalism community, offering a forum for ethics discussions and providing tools to support the daily tasks of those involved in the field.

Comunique-se announced that it began compiling information for its highly anticipated annual "Corporate Communication Ranking," a revealing industry look at the key players on a national, regional and state-wide level that will determine the real size of the corporate communication market in Brazil. Corporate communication firms can log on to www.rankingcomunicacao.com.br. to participate in the survey. The PR firms featured in the poll will be ranked based on gross revenue, profitability, yield, growth and recruiting volume. The results will analyze the current scenario and future projections for South America's largest economy.

The global corporate communication market accounts for $15 billion annually, according to industry magazine PRWeek, which adds that Brazil is growing at an unprecedented rate. What is the real dimension of this market in the country? What companies are growing the fastest, making the most money, most profitable? With the objective of mapping this scenario, Comunique-se aims to develop the most complete and relevant survey ever compiled on this market.

The results of the ranking will serve as basis for the lecture that the President of Comunique-se, Rodrigo Azevedo, will present at the 9th Brazilian Congress of Business Journalism, Press Consultantship and Public Relations, to be held May 3-5 in Sao Paulo.

"Our goal is to bring Brazil to the forefront of international corporate communications, based on our knowledge of the current scenario and future projections," stated Rodrigo Azevedo, President of Comunique-se. "The various layers of the survey, coupled with financial parameters, will provide a comprehensive roadmap to the corporate communication market in Brazil. The results will prove to be an indispensable tool for decision making by communicators and even international players with interests in the country."

The agencies participating in the survey will be pioneers in a study compiled by industry professionals about market leadership -- the first of its kind in Brazil. "The participating companies will receive the exclusive Professional Report with the main results, as well as have their logos prominently placed on the Comunique-se portal," comments Azevedo.

The online form for the survey is available at: www.rankingcomunicacao.com.br.
