Computer firm signs at Rockaway 80.

Protocol, the services division of Zycad Corporation of Fremont, California, has signed a 48,400-square-foot lease at Rockaway 80 Corporate Center in Rockaway, New Jersey. Protocol offers consulting, engineering and process management services to the systems engineering world, electronic design and test communities, and electronic design automation users.

Announcement of the transaction was made by Robert J. Rudin, Executive Director of Edward S. Gordon Company of New Jersey, exclusive leasing gent for the building.

Protocol moved into the space, which it is using for general offices, in March, according to Donald Sperling, associate director of Edward, 5. Gordon/NJ and leasing agent for the. building, which is owned by Enterprise Group Development Corporation. The firm is relocating from the International Trade Zone in Mount Olive.

Eric Ladden of CB Commercial represented the tenant in the transaction.
