The "largest computer mail-order company in the world" recently expanded into Little Rock, according to Dewayne Miller, manager of the new location.

CompuAdd, which sells all types of computer hardware and software, name brand printers and CompuAdd computers, began opening retail stores 3 years ago.

The corporation, which began in 1981, now has 120 stores internationally, with the expectation of opening 80 more in 1992.

CompuAdd manufactures its computers in Austin, Texas, where the company is based.

Miller says CompuAdd projects its 1992 sales will top $1 billion.
