What better way to celebrate Valentine's Day--and the irrrational things that love can make us do--than with a ballet revolving around a steamy love triangle (or a couple of intersecting steamy love triangles)? Cincinnati Ballet does just that with Amedeo Amodio's Carmen, Feb. 10-11 and 17-18 at the Aronoff Center for the Arts. Fresh from performing a brand-new Nutcracker by artistic director Victoria Morgan, the dancers will slink and slice through Amodio's contemporary choreography to the classic Bizet score, played live by the Cincinnati Ballet Orchestra.
