Bruna and Cufi (both mathematics, U. Autonoma de Barcelona, Catalonia) present a complement to the standard references used in a variety of advanced courses. It contains some material not usually found in textbooks on complex variables. Among the topics are arithmetic and topology in the complex plane, holomorphic functions and differential forms, isolated singularities of holomorphic functions, harmonic functions, the Riemann mapping theorem and Dirichlet's problem, and the complex Fourier transform.
