Competition to keep kids in school.

Byline: Phoebe Sinclair

OUR SCHOOL COUNCIL were looking for a fun way to improve attendance so they decided on a competition.

The competition is to see which class has the best attendance every half term. Each week in assembly, Mrs Hull our deputy head teacher, tells us who the weekly winner is. At the end of each half term winning class get a non uniform day.

Last Half term the winners were Miss Buick's class. She said "I loved the competition it is a real incentive for the children to come to school. My class enjoyed their non-uniform day!" Lucas told me "I hope my class wins soon."

The competition is a great way to encourage us all to come to school.
