Compatriot resettlement program of Russia's Sverdlovsk region to be presented in Bishkek.

The Russian Center of Science and Culture in Bishkek will conduct a videoconference presentation of a compatriot resettlement program of Sverdlovsk region on September 24.

The event will bring together representatives of the Office of Labor and Employment of Sverdlovsk region, as well as employees of the Federal Migration Service of Russia.

Rich in natural resources, the Russian region is especially famous for metals (iron, copper, gold, platinum), minerals, marble and coal. Most of it spreads over the eastern slopes of the Middle and North Urals and the Western Siberian Plain.

Prospects for the development of Sverdlovsk region are related to further development and competitiveness raise of steel, heavy, chemical and power engineering through modernization of the existing facilities, as well as construction of the new ones.
