secures former high-level State of California appointee to lead

company's IT operation

StockUp.com(TM) Inc., (OTC BB:SKUP) Tuesday announced the appointment of Leo F. Verheul as chief information officer.

Verheul will direct the internal operations systems for StockUp.com. In addition to his duties as StockUp.com's new CIO, Verheul will assume overall responsibility for the development and operation of all internal database systems.

Verheul comes to StockUp.com from the California Department of Motor Vehicles where Governor Pete Wilson appointed him chief information officer and director of the Informaainframe system, a system that supports the lar ICF Kaiser International (NYSE:ICF) and CH2MHILL, Verheul assumed the leadership role of IT functions, implementing an outsourced subcontract. As director of Informations company that is actively developing second-generation Internet technology(TM) whose purpose is to increase and retain Web traffic and produce user customization for a wide range of Internet products.
