Event

Turkey Stuffer 5K Run/Walk: Registration is open for the 34th annual Turkey Stuffer 5K Run/Walk in Springfield on Thanksgiving Day. The event begins at 8:30 a.m. at Lively Park, 6100 Thurston Road. Registration is available online at eclecticedgeracing.com or at any Willamalane facility. There is no day-of-race registration. Online registration ends 5 p.m. Nov. 23; and in-person registration end 7 p.m. Nov. 25. Cost is $15 for adults and free for youths 14 and younger. Deadline is today to order $10 tech shirt. Packet pickup is noon to 7 p.m. Nov. 24-25 at Willamalane Center, 250 S. 32nd St., Springfield. Participants can still register at packet pickup. Proceeds help fund Willamalane's free Summer Playground Program. After the run, free swimming will be available at Splash! at Lively Park for racers and family members. Parking, which is limited at Lively Park, is also available at Thurston Middle School.

Clinics and camps

YMCA basketball: Registration is open for two Eugene Family YMCA activities - an Itty-Bitty Basketball Clinic for 3- to 5-year-old boys and girls, and a basketball camp for players in kindergarten and the first grade. The four-session Itty-Bitty clinic will be Thursdays or Saturday mornings Jan. 7-30 at the YMCA; cost is $40. The kindergartner and first-grader camp will be Feb. 6 to March 5 and players have four sites to choose from, Adams (9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.), Berth Holt (9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.), Roosevelt Middle (11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.) and Buena Vista (11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.). Little Timbers Academy: The Eugene Timbers Futbol Club will begin its Little Timbers Winter Skills Academy for players 4 to 10 on Nov. 30. The hourlong sessions run twice a week for six weeks at the Village School, 2855 Lincoln St. Cost is $100. For more information or to register, visit www.eugenetimbers.org or phone 541-343-5100.

ETFC indoor clinic: Registration is open for the Eugene Timbers Futbol Club's indoor skill development program for fourth- through eighth-grade boys and girls. It includes seven two-hour sessions at the Village School, with one hour of footskills and one hour of Futsal games. Fourth- through sixth-graders train from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Fridays beginning Dec. 4 (skipping Dec. 25 and Jan. 1), while seventh- and eighth-graders trail from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays beginning Dec. 5 (skipping Dec. 26 and Jan. 2). Tryouts

ETFC high school premier: The Eugene Timbers Futbol Club will hold its final supplemental high school premier soccer (U15-18) tryouts Nov. 18-19 at the LCC soccer fields. Tryouts are free. Meeting

YMCA adult women's basketball - The Eugene Family YMCA is offering an adult women's basketball league this winter. Registration is by team only. Individual players can be placed on an interest list. The eight-game season will play on Sunday evenings Jan. 10 to March 13. The team fee is $540 with a registration deadline and coaches meeting at 6 p.m. Nov. 24 at the YMCA.
