CITY:

The next meeting of the WHISC Eating Disorder Support Group takes place tonight at 6pm at 120 Bold Street.

Group meets alternate Thursdays.

New members welcome.

WALTON:

St Aidan's, Cherry Lane, will be holding a Christmas Fair on Saturday from 11am to 2pm. Proceeds to the Raise the Roof fund.

KNOTTY ASH:

A Christmas Fair will be held at St John's church, Thomas Lane, on November 29, from 11am 2pm.

Santa and his grotto, stalls, refreshments.

Proceeds to church funds.

HUYTON:

A car boot sale will be held at Court Hey Methodist church, Roby Road, on Saturday from 10am to 12 noon.

Admission 20p.

ANFIELD:

An Advent Fair will be held at All Saints parish centre, Oakfields, from 10.30-1pm on November 30.

Homemade cakes/ toy stall/ tombola/ face painting.

HUYTON: DogsTrust Merseyside is hosting its annual Christmas Fair on Saturday. The event starts at 12 noon at the Rehoming Centre in Huyton and finishes at 4pm. Admission free.

NORRIS GREEN:

Aintree University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust carol service - 7.30pm, Thursday December 4 at St Teresas's RC church, Utting Avenue East.

Everybody welcome - patients, staff and members of all the communities served by the hospitals.

HALE:

St. Mary's church Christmas Fair takes place on Saturday at Hale Village Hall, High Street, from 1pm-3pm.

There will be a variety of stalls including a tombola, face painting, cakes, candles, christmas gifts and children's games.

ST HELENS: Willowbrook hospice will be holding a Christmas Fair on Saturday from 10am to 4pm.

AIGBURTH:

Opportunity to meet and buy original handcrafted items direct from local artists and designer/makers at the Art & Design Fair, the Old Police Station, Lark Lane, on Saturday, 10am to 5pm and on Sunday, December 21, 11am- 4pm.
