MILITARY NEWS

Derrick Saraceni has been commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Air Force. Saraceni is the son of Ricard and Kathleen Saraceni of Coos Bay.

OFFICER INSTALLATION

Jody Johnstone has been been installed as president of Mu Phi Epsilon. Other officers installed include vice president, Fran Corno; secretary, Arlene Robinson; treasurer, Henriette Gemmell; and financial secretary, Yvonne Webking. Mu Phi Epsilon is a community service organization which promotes interest in music and grants scholarships to University of Oregon music majors.

CLASS REUNIONS

Siuslaw High School: Class of 1982: July 26 and 27. A pizza social will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Abby's Pizza in Florence. A dinner, for adults only, will be at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Driftwood Shores in Florence. A family picnic will be at 11 a.m. at the Woahink gazebo. Bring your own picnic and beverages.
