Communication Rap

COMMUNICATION is getting INFORMATION to its
   DESTINATION.
We can give a speech to people in our reach.
We can sign a sign or write a little rhyme.
We can make a call to someone
   down the hall,
Or use the telephone when we feel all alone.

COMMUNICATION is getting INFORMATION to its
   DESTINATION.
We can write a letter; in fact what might be better
Is to send a code or use a different mode.
We can type on our computer, use the
   internet to do 'er,
Send an e-mail to our mother or
   our sister or our brother.

   COMMUNICATION is getting INFORMATION to
   its DESTINATION.
If we want to send long distance, use the atmosphere's
   assistance.
On the radio, there is nowhere we can't go.
We can talk with friends in Mobile, and we'll never get
   a phone bill.
We can even talk to Mars. There's just nowhere
   that's too far!

COMMUNICATION is getting INFORMATION to its
   DESTINATION.
But all of this technology will never do
   us good, you see.
If we don't learn to read and write, our futures won't
   be very bright.
If we don't learn to speak our mind, our thoughts
   will soon be left behind.
The brain is such a wondrous tool. WE NEED TO USE IT WELL IN
   SCHOOL.
