Communication ace veteran Alexandre Slim passes away.

BEIRUT: Alexandre Slim, one of the most prominent advertising CEOs in Lebanon, passed away Tuesday. "With much sorrow, we inform you of the loss of a great Advertising man and a former IAA board member, Mr. Alexandre Slim. Our heartfelt condolence to his family, we pray God gives them all the strength in overcoming the irreplaceable loss of Mr. Slim today," said an obituary by the International Advertising Association (IAA).
In 1985 Slim founded Pimo Group, which today is known as Lowe Pimo.
Slim started his career as an employee in the advertising industry before establishing his own firm.
For the past 30 years, Slim built long-lasting relationships with client partners and colleagues and shall be missed by the industry.
The funeral will take place, Wednesday at 2 pm, and the condolences will be held from Wednesday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., both at Saint Nicolas Church in Ashrafieh.
