BANKING AND CREDIT NEWS-August 18, 2015-CommonWealth One helps strengthen youth baseball in Alexandria


CommonWealth One Federal Credit Union said it has supported the youth baseball program in Alexandria with a donation to the Alexandria Aces.

Branch manager Raul DeCecco threw out the first pitch at the game between the Aces and the District of Columbia Grays on July 23, 2015. The credit union displayed a banner at the game and staff was on hand at an information table at the game to provide information about CommonWealth One.

The credit union's chief marketing officer Karyle Thornton said, "Sponsoring team programs like the Alexandria Aces helps us to lend even more support in our own communities and share the word about the benefits of CommonWealth One membership."

The Alexandria Aces Collegiate Summer Baseball Club is in its eighth season in the Cal Ripken League.

CommonWealth One Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Alexandria, VA, has more than USD324 million in assets serving more than 29,000 members.
