Commercial property agents Bond Wolfe have donated pounds 1,000 towards sending disadvantaged children on holiday to Florida.

Lisa Worrall, personnel manager and charity co-ordinator, together with colleague Paul Bassi, nephew of Midland property investor Paul Bassi senior, made the presentation during a recent visit to Victoria School in Northfield.

Linda Sealey, school secretary and trip organiser, showed Ms Worrall and Mr Bassi around the special needs school introducing them to the eight pupils that will be going on the trip - from August 24 for a week.

Funds are being raised through a variety of events including bag packing, barn dances and raffles, in addition to donations, in order to meet the pounds 38,000 cost.
