Coming clean on Ajax nightmare.

Celtic's win over Ajax may have been a football match to you - but it was a broadcasting nightmare for me.

The urge to pronounce the team name A-Jax phonetically was overwhelming, as I'm old enough to remember that's how we used to say it when there was a cleaning product of the same name. And when did the sportswear firm of my youth that we called Ad-EE-das become Aa-didas? And when did the ancient female warrior we knew as Boadicea become Boo-dica? My job of reading out loud is hard enough without people moving the goalposts.
