Comic pair launchcapers on web.

FANS of Wallace and Gromit will soon be able to relive edited highlights of their TV capers on a new website.

Aardman Animations, the Bristol-based company behind the Oscar- winning short films, launched a new "channel" on the internet to showcase classic clips of its work over the past 20 years.

The free service, which kicked off with episodes of BBC1's Morph from 1981 and the ground-breaking Creature Comfort commercials from 1989, will run 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

New content will be added every fortnight, including excerpts from animator Nick Park's Wallace and Gromit trilogy, A Grand Day Out, The Wrong Trousers and A Close Shave.

By the time the schedule is complete, more than 600 minutes of archive footage will be featured.

The new service is being run via the award-winning AtomFilms entertainment web site.
