Self-styled comedy terrorist Aaron Barschak is in police custody today on suspicion of making a hoax bomb.

The 38-year-old, who gatecrashed Prince William's 21st birthday party at Windsor, was arrested in Wapping, London, at 3pm yesterday.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said last night: "A 38-year-old man was arrested in Wapping on suspicion of making a bomb hoax. He was arrested by uniformed officers who had been called to the address, described as a business premises."

The spokesman added: "A package was recovered from the business premises in Wapping. The man was arrested in Wapping Lane."

Bookies had given 50-1 odds of Barschak causing a major security breach at the Prince of Wales's wedding today.
