Comedienne looks the biz for Who role Catherine wows fans in city shoot.

FUNNY girl Catherine Tate bovvered to get herself all dressed up as a classy business executive to film the new Dr Who series in Cardiff. Catherine swapped her scruffy schoolgirl costume for a sharp business suit and high heels to help tackle aliens invading the earth.

Catherine, 39, was dressed up to the nines as she pretended to be a high-flying businesswoman in a futuristic company.

Fans watched as she stepped into the sunshine with sleek and shiny hair and immaculate make-up for the new Dr Who episodes in Cardiffs Churchill Way.

Fan Nicola Rees, 26, said: Were used to seeing her as the scruffy teenager in her TV show.

She looked like a million dollars today like something out of Sex and the City.

It was a real thrill to see her. She is making her second appearance in the sci-fi series as David Tennants sidekick Donna. Dr Who viewers raved about her character when she starred in last years successful Christmas episode. The shows writer, Russell T Davies, said: Doctor Who and Catherine Tate is just the most irresistible combination, a genuine treat.
