CABARET WARWICK ARTS CENTRE LIFE is a cabaret, old chum and its willkommen, bienvenue and welcome as the nightclub doors of the Kit Kat Klub open in Coventry tonight.

Music Theatre Warwick reveal the seedy underbelly of 1930s Berlin in hit musical Cabaret.

The Master of Ceremonies is waiting as young writer Clifford Bradshaw is introduced into a hedonistic world when he meets eccentric cabaret singer Sally Bowles.

Matthew Dimic is the producer of the student production which opens tonight for a four date run at Warwick Arts Centre.

The show features cabaret-style seating and hit songs include Money, Willkommen, Tomorrow and the title track Cabaret.

Cabaret first opened on Broadway in 1966 and Liza Minnelli, Michael York and Joel Grey starred in the 1972 film directed by Bob Fosse.

Dame Judi Dench, Jane Horrocks, Natasha Richardson, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Susan Egan, Teri Hatcher, Melina Kanakaredes, Jane Leeves, Molly Ringwald, Brooke Shields and Lea Thompson have all played Sally Bowles on stage over the years.
