Come and join the Choral in rehearsal.

Byline: John Avison ,

A taste of how a big choir operates is once again being made available by Huddersfield Choral Society.

The Society is holding an open rehearsal at Greenhead College on Friday October 6 for anyone who has some singing experience and can read music.

The piece in rehearsal is Mozart's Requiem, and will be sung at the first concert of the season on Friday November 3 in Huddersfield Town Hall.

It's an all-Mozart programme, with the Mass in C Minor as the first part of the concert.

For the open rehearsal, a copy of the music will be provided if you don't have one.

Registration for the rehearsal, conducted by chorus master Joseph Cullen, is from 6.30pm onwards on October 6, and the rehearsal proper is 7.30-9.30pm.

For those who like their first taste, full membership could be the next step - but you'll have to audition.
