Comark Thermometer Helps Lewis Frozen Foods

Lewis Frozen Foods of St Helens purchased a Model C9007 precision thermometer from Comark Electronics Ltd of Rustington to check the temperature of incoming and outgoing foodstuffs. Their requirement was a calibrated instrument with a high level of accuracy because they needed to satisfy the Quick Frozen Foodstuffs Regulations 1990, part of which says that fish must arrive at and leave the premises at - 18oC.

The temperature of the 7.5kg laminated frozen blocks of skinned boneless fillets is checked on arrival and for goods to be sold frozen they must arrive at the customers' premises at a temperature that is no higher. Measurement with the C9007 thermometer give Lewis such a guarantee against customers acceptance.
