Columbus Life Introduces Nautical Term With ROP Option.

CINCINNATI, May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Columbus Life Insurance Company has announced the introduction of its new level term life product -- Nautical Term.

This flexible, competitive product offers 10-, 20- and 30-year premium guarantee periods and return of premium option with the 20- and 30-year plans. With the return of premium option, premiums paid for the return of premium rider and the base policy are returned at the end of the initial term and can be used for retirement or other needs.

With extended issue ages (18-75) as compared to other carriers, Nautical Term is particularly attractive to affluent baby boomers. Nautical Term may be exchanged for any of Columbus Life's permanent life products available at the time of the exchange. The right to exchange will terminate at the end of the initial term period or on the policy anniversary on which the insured is age 70, whichever comes first.

Nautical Term was designed to appeal specifically to the markets Columbus Life serves -- the affluent and business markets -- and is part of a complete portfolio of life insurance products designed to meet a variety of family, estate planning and business needs.
