Colorado Springs. (Colorado: Colorado Springs).
Colorado Springs offers a range of meeting options, from downtown convention properties to luxury resorts and historic inns. But the largest of them all is the Broadmoor, setting standards in service since it first opened in 1918. The historic hotel recently finished the final phase of a $75 million construction, renovation, and restoration project.
The first two phases opened in the summer of 2001 and included a new main pool area, as well as the new 21-room Lakeside Suites building. The original buildings of Broadmoor Main, Northmoor, and Southmoor reopened in May 2002, bringing the resort's room count back to a full complement of 700. In an ongoing effort to cater to the business traveler, all guest rooms are now equipped with high-speed Internet access through On Command Web TV.
In all, the Broadmoor offers more than 114,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, ii restaurants and lounges, three golf courses, tailored team-building programs, and a spectacular setting. What's more, executives will appreciate a much-deserved rest at the Broadmoor Spa, Golf and Tennis Club, where exquisite ambiance meets modern amenities for the ultimate unwinding experience.
