Colorado Internet Keiretsu (CIK) Builds Momentum With New Member Services for 2002; Exclusive Forum for Internet Entrepreneurs Offers Greater Opportunities For Networking and Professional Development.

BOULDER, Colo. -- The Colorado Internet Keiretsu (CIK) today announced it is offering a range of new networking and professional development programs to members beginning in 2002. Since its inception in 1997, CIK has remained the premier exclusive community of Internet CEOs and founders who share a common voice, provide value to each other and help promote Colorado as a leading technology base. In addition, the CIK is now enhancing its spectrum of member services by adding a number of activities geared to help develop and encourage Internet entrepreneurs by offering expertise, networking and support essential to building a successful Internet company.

"The new CIK will better serve entrepreneurs who seek a community of experienced and diverse professionals that can make the difference in their business endeavors," said Jody Reale, newly appointed CIK director. "Our added activities will meet the range of interests that comprise our membership and encourage greater interaction, involvement and value for all."

The CIK's new offerings go well beyond the scope of its previous bi-monthly networking meetings and provide further opportunities for CEOs and founders of Internet companies to share ideas and support each other. New programs and services include:
 -- Special Interest Groups (SIGs) on key topics related to Internet-based
 companies that allow members with like interests to convene on a
 regular basis.
 -- Round table and panel discussions provide educational opportunities on
 timely topics most relevant to and suggested by members.
 -- "Panel of Experts" gives members access to media exposure for their
 -- Mentor programs foster the development of entrepreneurs facing
 early-stage challenges.
 -- Peer Advisory Groups offer the opportunity for members to solicit
 advice on problems they are experiencing from invited CIK members.
 -- Frequent informal networking gatherings at various venues in Denver
 and Boulder that allow more opportunity for meeting other members.
 -- Special events, including ski days and picnics, offer the opportunity
 for socializing.

CIK membership is now offered at $195 in yearly dues in order to give the organization the ability to enhance its programs and provide added value to its members.
